Life Leisure Cheadle

Cheadle Swimming Pool is based in South Manchester and is the indoor home venue for Manchester Wildcats Canoe Polo Club. It has a 33m swimming pool, with a small additional warm-up pool. There is also a full-length gallery for spectators.
The pool is well used to holding tournaments, Cheadle was a venue for the old Northwest League. From 2013/14 Cheadle will host both NW & C Regional and National tournaments.

Life Leisure Grand Central, Stockport

The Grand Central Pool in Stockport is a modern 50 metre swimming pool. It holds a full length canoe polo pitch with enough additional space for a warm up area at either end. Its is light and open and has a large spectator viewing area. Car Parking is £1-3
Stockport is the NW & C leagues’ largest indoor venue, and canoe polo tournaments have been held here for many years.

Kendal Leisure Centre

Collingwood Dock, Liverpool

Friends of Allonby canoe club have moved from Queens Dock to their new home in Collingwood Dock. The new venue is around 1 mile further north along the dock front. They have kindly made this venue available to us from the 2013/14 season.

Sale Water Park, Manchester

Our second outdoor venue is Sale Water Park in Manchester, also the home of Wildcats Canoe Polo Club. 

Trentham Estate, Stoke

Another outdoor venue is Trentham Estate near Stoke, also the home of Trentham Canoe Club. The pitch is situated on the mile-long lake in the centre of the estate, surrounded by woodland and formal gardens.

New Venues

We are constantly looking for new venues to use for the regional league and for other canoe polo competitions.
A suitable venue requires a minimum pool length of 33 metres if indoors and for the NW & C Regional League, should be within the M6 corridor.
