Liverpool Development Academy
In development terms, with the domestic and international calendar running parallel, the development opportunities and activities, as with last summer, have been relatively quiet. However, the calendar has now changed somewhat, and we are looking to reignite some of the Speke pool activities as hosted previously.
Winter Activities
The sessions will take place each Sunday only from 11.00 AM until 4.00 PM on the following dates:
– December 7th
– January 4th
– February 1st
– March 1st
The session content consists of improving personal technique and skills, then depending on the support and footfall, with something like an ability-based 4-5 competition games session to complete the program.
Invitations are welcome from upto16 years old, both boys and girls, with around 20 places available. Cost £15.00 p.p. Interested? Then please get in touch with Mike Moffitt, details listed at the bottom of this post.
Closing date for interest is November 8th
Weekend Fees required by November 22nd
Spring/Summer Activities
We are still looking to meet on the first Sunday/Weekend each month , but we shall need to see the domestic and international calendar before deciding the dates. The intention is that the activities and the participating group will then transfer to using the Collingwood venue during the better weather. With the potential that if the numbers are sufficient that the activities could be extended to cover the weekend. There is a Saturday option for the use of the pool on offer. However, that has additional cost implications, which in the absence of a known response at this point, we just need to be a little cautious. The arrangement and payment of fees will be notified once the interest is known.
